Need a little help training?

 

 

Week two training plan below. How did week one go? Did you get 6 days in on the routine building?

Novice 
Mon: Day Off
Tues: 10 x 50 yards with 40-45 sec rest between each
Wed: walk/run 15min “talking pace” this’ll keep it easy
Thurs: Bike 30 min
Fri: Swim – same as Tuesday
Sat: walk/run 25 minutes
Sun: bike 35 min 
Total: 2:45

 

Intermdediate:
Mon: off
Tues: Vig track workout, noon at Helena Middle school
Wed: Swim- warm up 200 swim, 100 kick, 100 backstroke
6 x 50 - stroke drill 25y, swim 25 y rest 20 sec between
4 x 100 with 30 sec rest interval (:30 RI = stop and rest 40 sec then go again)
250 swim freestyle on comfortable pace
5 x 50 with 20 sec rest between
100 warm down side stroke or elementary back
Totol 1950 yards
Thurs: Bike 40 min
Fri: Swim- warm up 200 swim, 150 side kick, 150 pull
250 swim without stopping 
100 kick
250 swim without stopping
6 x 50 alternate backstroke for 50 then freestyle for 50 resting 30 sec between each
100 warm down 
Total 1800 y
Sat: 40 min walk/run
Sun: Bike 1 hour
Weel total 4:40
