April is learn to swim month. USA Masters Swimming (usms.org) has lots of great tips. Need a coach to help you out? Contact us and we'll find you someone to work with you one on one. In the meantime we'll give you tips here. Check out the link below on where you want your head in the water. The guy in the photo is "siting" which means, in open water, looking for the buoy to help keep a straight line. Pool swim you'll keep your head down because you have lane lines painted on the bottom of the pool to help you stay in a straight line. The T at the end of the black line means the wall is close. But, nothing helps more than having a trained eye watch you and tell you where your head is or shouldn't be. Stay tuned for group practices for MTWTri at local health clubs.
